What are we building?
Seamless Integration aims to provide a user-friendly and integrated experience between the Oura Ring and Headspace app. It ensures that data synchronization and recommendations between the two platforms are effortless, creating a comprehensive wellness ecosystem for users.
- User Story — As a wellness-conscious user of both the Oura Ring and the Headspace app, I want the meditation sessions to be seamlessly integrated with my Oura data so I don’t have to manually input or trigger meditation sessions, enabling a more effortless and practical approach to improving my overall data with Oura.
Why build this integration?
- Make the user experience seamless by enabling automatic data sharing between the two apps. Users don’t have to manually input/trigger meditation session data; it’s synchronized between the Oura Ring and Headspace.
- Given that most of the Oura users are likely to be subscribers of Headspace, a premium subscription improves their experience with Oura.
- The partnership between Oura and Headspace could help users better understand the connections between their sleep, stress, and mindfulness efforts.
- This also can be expanded into increasing the subscription of Headspace Premium and Oura getting some % of that subscription.
